It is not speech that one should seek to understand,
one should know the One that speaks.


It is not scent that one should seek to understand,
one should know the One that smells.


It is not sound that one should seek to understand,
one should know the One that hears.


It is not the appearance of things that one should seek to understand,
one should know the One who sees.
